Paws and Stripes is working with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to prevent Veteran suicide in Albuquerque.
We recently received $570,000 from VA to support its mission through the Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program (SSG Fox SPGP), a three-year program that provides funding to community-based organizations with innovative ideas for preventing Veteran suicide.
With its SSG Fox SPGP award, we plan to provide mental health services to Veterans and their families in Albuquerque.
