We are excited to announce this year’s Gala, marking 15 years of Paws and Stripes’ service to our community!
Over the past 15 years, through the unwavering support of each one of you, Paws and Stripes has been able to transform into the organization we are today. We are deeply grateful for your commitment to our mission.
For this year’s event, we’ve decided to make a slight change. Paws and Stripes 2025 Gala will be renamed ‘Salute to Service’ instead of our previous title, ‘Celebration of Heroes.’ We are excited to move forward with this change to properly honor the hard work of our Veterans and their dogs in a way that is special, meaningful and just for them. As we know, the Veterans who complete our program deserve the highest level of recognition, respect, and, most importantly, their own celebration. Paws and Stripes’ Salute to Service will be a celebratory evening of 15 years of service and we want to communicate to you, the supporters, how we are evolving.
With this in mind, we’ve chosen to separate the recognition of Paws and Stripes Veteran Service Dog program graduates from the fundraising gala. This way, we can truly honor both in the way they deserve.
We hope to see you at the Salute to Service Gala on May 2nd, and we will be in touch soon to announce the celebration for our graduates at a later date.
